Product description
Wakeboard — Ronix — 2026
Who this is for
Beginner to intermediate riders who want to learn the right fundamentals from day one — or anyone who has struggled with a toeside washout and wants a board that actively solves the problem. The Vault is built around how riders actually move, and it shows on the water.
The board
The 2026 Ronix Vault is the definitive building block to wakeboarding. The core idea behind it has been 20 years in the making: when you ride toeside, your hips and shoulders are crossed up; when you ride heelside, you’re more inline. A standard symmetrical board treats both edges the same — and makes every toeside turn harder than it needs to be. The Vault uses an asymmetric rail design to fix that. The toeside edge has a sharper rail and a longer fin to prevent tail washout and lock you in through the turn. The heelside gets a more vertical sidewall and shorter fin for easy glide and a clean release off the wake. The result is a board that teaches you correct body positioning and edge control from your very first set on Okanagan Lake — habits that carry forward into every board you ride after this one. For 2026 Ronix removed almost 20% of the weight, giving you more feedback from the water, less swing weight in the air, and easier edge-to-edge transitions.
What makes it work
Asymmetric Edges — Toeside Hold
A sharper rail and longer moulded fin on the toeside edge creates stronger water contact and prevents the tail washing out — the single most common problem new riders face on Okanagan Lake. You get a firm, confident edge on your harder side without having to fight for it.
Asymmetric Edges — Heelside Release
A more vertical sidewall and shorter moulded fin on the heelside edge gives you easy glide and a cleaner, faster release off the wake. Mellower heelside transitions mean softer landings and more relaxed backside turns — letting you focus on timing rather than survival.
Centered 3-Stage Rocker
The naturally centred arc promotes a relaxed, even weight distribution that keeps you balanced over the board. The 3-stage profile delivers a clean, vertical “buck” off the wake — predictable enough that you know exactly what’s coming every time you approach, explosive enough to get you airborne with confidence.
20% Lighter — Modello Core
The 2026 Vault shed almost 20% of its weight versus its predecessor. Modello Core keeps the board durable and affordable while a Low Friction Base gives you more glide speed through the flats. Less swing weight means easier spins in the air, faster edge transitions, and less fatigue after a long afternoon session on Kalamalka Lake.
