Who it's for: Junior and teenage park skiers ready for a real twin ski — and parents looking for a capable, well-priced option that won't be outgrown immediately. It's the right ski for a young rider who's progressing through Silver Star's park and isn't yet hitting the biggest features. |

The ARV 84 is built the same way as the adult ARV line — twin shape, AR Freestyle Rocker, dual mount points — but uses a hybrid poplar/composite core instead of a full wood core. That's not a shortcut; it's a deliberate choice that keeps the ski lighter and more forgiving for younger riders still building their park skills, and keeps the price at a level that makes sense for a ski a growing teenager might outgrow in a season or two. For most junior park skiers progressing through Silver Star's features, the 84 is exactly the right ski. The full wood core ARV 88 becomes the better choice when a young rider starts charging the biggest jumps and needs the added energy return and durability that a composite core can't match — that's a conversation we're happy to have in store. |
