2-Person Lay-Down Towable Tube — Radar
|
Who this is for
Two riders who want the wildest ride possible on Okanagan Lake — and don’t need a crowd to have a good time. The Astro’s compact size makes it quicker to whip and easier to launch off the wake than a larger tube. Lie down, hold on, and see how long you last.
|
The tube
The Radar Astro is the two-person version of the Liftoff — same Spoon-O-Vation shape, same Marshmallow soft top, same lay-down riding position, but at 51” × 60” it’s a noticeably smaller and more nimble tube. That smaller footprint means the driver can whip it harder, the tube changes direction faster, and getting airborne off your wake on Okanagan Lake is easier and more unpredictable. The Spoon-O-Vation scooped bottom design channels speed and puts riders in a natural prone position that’s actually comfortable for a sustained run — the Marshmallow soft top is what makes that possible, replacing hard nylon with a cushy skin that doesn’t punish you for staying on. Side bolsters on both edges keep riders contained through the turns, and quick-connect tow attachment gets you clipped and in the water fast.

Lay-Down Style — Astro, Liftoff & Sunset 3/4
The wild ride. Riding prone puts you low to the water and makes every turn more intense. Our pick for teenagers and thrill-seekers who want to get launched. We also carry the Radar Liftoff (3-person) and HO Sunset 3 & 4.
|
Sit-Down Style — Laguna, 2G/3G & Radar Chase 3
Better for younger kids, older adults, or anyone who wants a fun but more controlled ride. Sitting upright gives riders more stability through turns on Okanagan Lake. We carry the Laguna 2, Laguna 3, 2G, 3G, and Radar Chase 3 in-store.

What makes it work
|
Compact & Nimble — Easier to Launch
At 51” × 60” the Astro is meaningfully smaller than the Liftoff. Less mass means the driver can whip it harder and the tube responds faster — making it easier to catch air off Okanagan Lake’s wake and harder to predict where you’ll land. The perfect two-person tube if you want maximum chaos per dollar.

|
Spoon-O-Vation Shape
Radar’s Spoon-O-Vation scooped bottom puts riders into a natural prone position and channels speed from the boat efficiently. The shape is specifically designed to make launching off the wake easier — the scooped profile catches air and sends riders skyward rather than just skipping flat across Kalamalka Lake.

|
Marshmallow Soft Top
Radar’s Marshmallow top replaces hard nylon with a cushioned skin that’s genuinely comfortable to lie on for an extended ride. When you’re prone on a tube, the surface you’re pressed against matters — the Marshmallow top means you can go for multiple long runs on Okanagan Lake without beating yourself up on the deck.

Side Bolsters + 420D Nylon Build
Inflatable side bolsters on both edges keep riders from sliding off through hard turns and whips. The 420-denier nylon cover over a 30-gauge PVC bladder is built for long-term durability — this tube is going to live on your swim platform all summer and it can handle it. Quick-connect tow and Boston valve for fast setup.
