The O'Neill Men's Epic 3/2mm: High-performance tech at an incredible value. Featuring GBS watertight seams, UltraFlex neoprene, and a thermal firewall. Built for maximum warmth and mobility during the Okanagan shoulder seasons. Read more.
The Men's Epic is for the guy who refuses to stop riding just because the leaves are turning; or you're the first one off the dock in May, this is your suit. Itās designed for the rider who wants a watertight seal and a thermal core to stay warm on Okanagan Lake when everyone else is still in hoodies.
The O'Neill Men's Epic is a legend in the wetsuit world because it doesn't cut corners. While other "value" suits use cheap, leaky seams, the Epic features Glued and Blindstitched (GBS) Seams. This construction creates a watertight barrier, preventing that "ice cube down the back" feeling when you fall into Kal Lake. The 3/2mm thickness gives you 3mm of warmth in the chest and back, while 2mm UltraFlex DS neoprene in the arms and legs keeps your movements unrestricted.
Inside, O'Neill has added the FluidFlex Firewall in the chest and back panels. This thermal lining wicks water away from your skin and traps heat at your core. Combined with the Wind-Resistant Smoothskin exterior, the Epic keeps you warm during those long, windy boat runs back to the marina in Vernon.
UltraFlex DS Neoprene: 100% Super-stretch neoprene that is durable, soft, and offers incredible mobility for wakesurfing and foiling.
GBS Seams: Glued and Blindstitched construction provides a watertight seal, significantly increasing warmth and durability.
FluidFlex Firewall: A thermal interior jersey that retains body heat and feels plush against the skin.
Covert Blackout Zip: An offset zipper design with specialized teeth that significantly reduces water "flushing" through the back.
Krypto Knee Padz: High-durability, ergonomic knee panels that protect the suit from abrasion and protect your boardās traction.
LSD (Lumbar Seamless Design): One large panel in the seat and lower back to eliminate seams in high-movement areas.
ā” THE ATTRIDGE PRO TIP: STAYING WARM IN VERNON
The Epic is the most popular suit in our shop for a reason.
The Seam Difference: Unlike "Flatlock" suits (which breathe and let water in), the GBS seams on the Epic keep the water out. This makes it feel significantly warmer than a standard 3/2mm suit.
Wind Protection: The Smoothskin chest and back panels are critical for boaters. They shed water instantly, preventing evaporative cooling when you're sitting on the boat between sets.
Fit: Make sure the suit is tight enough to be a "second skin." If there are big gaps at the lower back, you'll lose all that trapped heat!
