The Love Nor Money Impact Vest is our top recommendation for the Okanagan wakesurfer. When youāre carved into a wave for minutes at a time, the last thing you want is a bulky vest hitting your chin or restricted arm movement. At Attridge, we love the Menās Relaxed Fit of this model because it provides a bit more breathing room through the chest and armholes, allowing for total freedom while you're hunting for the pocket.
Diamond-Quilted Performance: The quilting isn't just an aesthetic choice; it segments the foam to follow the natural bend of your torso. This makes it incredibly easy to tuck for deep-water starts and rotational tricks.
Dual-SĀ© Neoprene: Follow uses a dual-layer construction to minimize "neoprene stretch." This ensures the vest stays tight and supportive, even after a full season of being dunked in Okanagan Lake.
Featherweight Foam: This is the lightest, softest foam in the Follow lineup. It absorbs less water, so the vest stays light and doesn't feel like a "weighted blanket" after your first fall.
Even with a Relaxed Fit, the rules of neoprene still apply.
The Dry Test: You should feel a firm "hug" around your ribs on land. If there is a gap between the vest and your stomach, it is too large.
The 10% Rule: Neoprene expands roughly 10% when wet. If it feels "comfortably loose" in the shop, it will be a safety hazard and ride up to your chin once you're in the water.
Sizing Down: If you are between sizes, we almost always recommend sizing down. A tighter vest is a safer, more high-performing vest.
Safety First: This is a Non-CGA (Non-Life Jacket) impact vest.
