Directional — Winged Swallowtail

Long floaty nose, setback stance, and a hand-shaped winged swallowtail that reduces tail surface area in pow for a surfy, sinking feel. Rides true to size — no sizing adjustment needed.

Winged Swallowtail — Hand Shaped

Each Sweetfish swallowtail is finished by hand at Mervin. The wings reduce tail surface area so it sinks naturally in powder, and the split tail geometry adds stability and float on deep landings. It's the shape detail that makes this board feel genuinely different from anything else in the lineup.

Tail Kink

A subtle kink built into the tail adds snap and pop to hardpack exits and keeps the board stable through powder landings. The Sweetfish carves with real authority on groomed runs between storm days — this is the feature that makes it more than just a specialty pow board.

Traditional Camber Edge Grip

Full traditional camber keeps the edge in continuous contact with the snow, generating natural grip that most boards need Magne-Traction® to match. The Sweetfish earns its edge hold through geometry — the result is a cleaner, more fluid feel that suits the surf-inspired riding style this board was built for.

OP+ Core — 75% Paulownia / 25% Aspen

Lightweight Original Power core keeps the Sweetfish lively and responsive without adding unnecessary weight. Paulownia-dominant construction gives the board its surfy, forgiving feel while the Aspen blend keeps it from going too soft at speed.
