Park / All-Mountain Freestyle — Burton — 2027

Who this is for

The park rat who rips the entire mountain. Jumps, rails, side hits, pow stashes, and groomer laps in between — the Process handles all of it without asking you to pick a lane. Mark McMorris' daily driver when he wants one board for the whole day.

The board

Mark McMorris has won more X Games medals than anyone in history and competes at the highest level in both slopestyle and big air. When he wants one board for the whole day — park laps, side hits on the way down, pow stashes, groomer spins — he reaches for the Process. The updated Super Fly II™ 700G core is lighter and snappier than before, and you'll feel it from the first run: more pop on takeoff, more life between turns, more response when you need it. PurePop Camber sits between traditional camber and a hybrid profile — subtle flat zones amplify pop and add playfulness without sacrificing the edge hold and control that a true camber board delivers. The fully symmetrical twin shape and twin flex mean there is no wrong direction — you can butter, spin, and stomp everything exactly the same regular or switch. If you want to unlock new ways to land, spin, or progress at Silver Star's park or Big White's side hits, trust the Process.

Camber Profile

PurePop Camber

Subtle flat zones within a traditional camber profile amplify pop and add playfulness without sacrificing edge hold. More pop and snap than a standard hybrid, more forgiving and playful than full camber. Exactly what a park-oriented board needs — spring-loaded energy that stays approachable.

Shape

True Twin — Twin Flex

Perfectly symmetrical nose and tail, symmetrical flex tip to tail. There is no wrong direction — every butter, spin, press, and landing works identically regular or switch. Zero centered stance. Rides true to size.

What makes it work

Super Fly II™ 700G Core — Updated

Lighter and snappier than the previous generation — stronger and lighter wood in the right zones for pop and reduced weight. The update that makes the 2027 Process feel livelier underfoot than what came before. More pop on takeoff, more response between turns.

Pro-Tip™ + Scoop

Pro-Tip tapers the tip and tail to reduce swing weight — easier to spin, easier to get the nose around quickly. Scoop angles the tip and tail upward for a catch-free, buttery feel that makes presses and mannys feel effortless.

Infinite Ride™

Machine-breaks the board in before it ships so the pop, flex, and feel is consistent from day one and doesn't drop off over the season. A park board that stays lively through full seasons of laps, not just opening day.

The Channel® Mounting System

Infinitely adjustable stance width and angles along the full length of the channel — dial in your exact setup and change it any time. Compatible with all major binding brands. Note: non-Burton bindings require Channel inserts (sold separately). Ask us in-store.

Triax™ Fiberglass + Sintered Base + Super Sap® Epoxy

Triax fiberglass provides versatile, balanced flex and response — forgiving enough for the park, responsive enough for groomer carves. Sintered base is durable and highly wax-absorbent for all-season performance. Super Sap® bio-based epoxy cuts the carbon footprint by 50% versus conventional petroleum epoxy. B Corporation certified manufacturer — Burton's sustainability commitment is verified, not just marketed.

Rides true to size. The 143 suits younger or smaller riders and mounts with Kids/Small bindings. Wide sizes (W) are recommended for boot size US 11.5 and up to avoid toe drag on the twin platform. The 152W and 155W share a weight range with their standard counterparts — choose W if your boot size warrants it. When in doubt, come in — we'll sort it out.

Using non-Burton bindings? You'll need Channel inserts The Process uses Burton's Channel® mounting system, which is compatible with all major binding brands — but non-Burton bindings require Channel inserts (sold separately) to mount correctly. Burton bindings mount directly. Ask us in-store and we'll make sure your binding setup works before you leave.

The Burton Men's Process is available in-store at Attridge Ski & Board in Vernon, BC — your home base for Silver Star, Revelstoke, and Big White. We ship free across Canada on orders over $150.
