Shared with the Alternator — a tighter radius in the center blends into larger radii in the tip and tail. Turns initiate quickly and release smoothly, giving the Nova a loose, forgiving feel that suits a medium flex board perfectly. The sidecut that makes the whole mountain feel playful rather than technical.

Powercore — 100% Poplar

Tip-to-tail poplar wood core — lightweight, responsive, and consistent. Poplar gives the Nova a lively, natural feel underfoot that makes a medium-flex board feel more energetic than the number suggests. Standard Core Profile keeps the flex even and predictable across the whole board.

Extruded FH Base — Low Maintenance

Fast, durable, and easy to maintain — the Extruded FH base doesn't require as much waxing attention as a sintered base and takes rail hits and rough terrain without drama. The right base for a board that's going to be ridden all season without fuss.

Made with 100% Solar Power

The entire Nova is manufactured using 100% solar power. Recycled steel edges (50% recycled material), ABS sidewalls from 35% recycled polymers, water-based inks throughout. Nitro's sustainability commitment runs through every board in the lineup — including the most affordable ones.
