The board

The Pretty Good Company is Burton's answer to a straightforward question: what does a real park twin look like at $499? The answer is better than you might expect. It takes the core ideas from the Good Company — traditional camber, a proper wood core, Squeezebox profiling, Infinite Ride — and makes one key swap: an extruded base instead of sintered, and 4x2 inserts instead of the Channel® system. That second point is actually a benefit for most buyers at this price point. Standard 4x2 inserts work with any binding on the market using a standard or mini disc — no Channel inserts, no compatibility questions, no extra cost at setup. True twin shape and twin flex mean it rides identically regular or switch, which is exactly what you want when you're still developing your style. At $499 this is a dealer exclusive that doesn't show up on Burton's main site — a genuine park board built by the same company that makes the Custom, at a price that makes it an easy yes for a first proper freestyle setup.

Camber Profile

Traditional Camber

Full camber tip to tail — spring-loaded pop for jumps and ollies, edge-to-edge response, and edge hold on hardpack groomers between park laps. At a soft flex, this profile is forgiving and easy to control while still delivering real pop when you need it.

Shape

True Twin — Twin Flex

Perfectly symmetrical nose and tail, symmetrical flex tip to tail. Every butter, spin, press, and landing works exactly the same regular or switch. Zero setback. Rides true to size.

What makes it work

4x2 Inserts — Works with Any Binding

Standard 4x2 hole pattern is compatible with any binding using a standard or mini disc — no Channel inserts needed, no compatibility concerns, no extra cost at setup. Straightforward stance adjustment and a wider range of binding choices right out of the box.

Fly 900G Core + Squeezebox Low

Classic tip-to-tail wood core, kept light and flexy. Squeezebox Low uses stiffer zones outside your feet to direct energy to the nose and tail, with a softer flex between the bindings for easier control — more pop where you want it, less resistance where you don't.

Infinite Ride™

Burton machine-breaks the board in before it ships so the flex, pop, and feel is consistent from day one to day one hundred. A board that performs the same in March as it did in November — no break-in period, no drop-off.

Extruded Base — Low Maintenance

Extruded bases hold wax less aggressively than sintered, which means they don't require as much maintenance to stay fast. A practical choice for a board that's going to take its share of rail hits, park laps, and beginner learning — built to take it and keep going.

Pro-Tip™ + Triax™ Fiberglass

Pro-Tip tapers the tip and tail to reduce swing weight — easier to spin and get the nose around on early attempts. Triax fiberglass above and below the core provides balanced, consistent flex for performance across park and all-mountain terrain. The same fiberglass construction used in Burton boards well above this price point.

Standard 4x2 inserts — works with any binding Unlike other Burton boards that use the Channel® system, the Pretty Good Company uses standard 4x2 inserts compatible with any binding using a standard or mini disc. No adapters needed, no extra cost — just mount and ride. Ask us in-store if you have questions about compatibility with your current setup.

The Burton Pretty Good Company is available in-store at Attridge Ski & Board in Vernon, BC in sizes 145 through 155W. A dealer-exclusive board at $499 — not available on Burton's main website. We ship free across Canada on orders over $150.

Not sure if this is the right board for you? Our crew has ridden every board we sell and can help you find the best fit. Come in and we'll match you to the right setup for your ability, your boot size, and the terrain you love to ride.
