Jones didn't water anything down to build the Prodigy — it runs the same 3D Contour Base shaping found on Jones' adult boards, just scaled down and softened for younger riders. The CamRock profile gives it camber underfoot for real edge grip and pop, with rocker in the nose and tail that keeps things forgiving and catch-free as kids work on linking turns. The directional twin shape means riding switch is just as natural as riding regular, which matters as soon as side hits and beginner park features start to look interesting. At Silver Star, Big White, or Revelstoke, this is the board for a kid who's outgrown the bunny hill board and is ready to actually explore — groomers, trees, the park, all of it. Soft flex keeps it manageable; everything else is built to keep pace as they improve.

To decide between two close sizes: choose the shorter board for a more playful ride with quicker turns and easier maneuverability, or the longer board for added stability, control, and float.
