Women’s Slalom Water Ski — Radar — 2026
Who this is for
Intermediate to advanced female skiers who want full Senate performance in a ski tuned specifically for how women generate edge pressure and speed. Whether you’re enjoying glassy morning runs on Okanagan Lake or working the course, the Lyric Alloy handles both with equal confidence.
The ski
The 2026 Radar Lyric Alloy is the most widely heralded shape in the women’s line for one simple reason: it works for almost everyone. By taking the Vapor DNA and adding 0.2” of extra width, Radar has created a ski that is lightning fast across the wake but remains incredibly stable when finishing a turn. But unlike many “women’s” skis that are simply different graphics, the Lyric is mechanically different — it uses a 15% softer carbon layup specifically tuned to respond to less input, allowing you to roll the ski into a turn and set an edge with less effort. As we cover in our 2026 Radar buying guide, the Lyric Alloy gives you the full Senate platform with flex tuned to your biomechanics — and it handles both variable conditions and the course equally well.
Attridge recommended speed: 29–32 MPH — Radar’s published range of 26–34 MPH is intentionally broad. In our experience on North Okanagan lakes, 29–32 MPH is where the Lyric Alloy truly comes alive for most intermediate to advanced female skiers.
What makes it work
15% Softer Women’s Flex
The lighter carbon layup ensures the ski flexes properly under a female rider’s weight. This makes the ski feel alive and responsive rather than stiff and demanding — you roll into the turn and the ski follows, rather than having to force it. Less effort in, more performance out.
Performance Width
The extra 0.2” is added outside the concave, between the tunnel and the bevel — preserving the active wet surface of the Vapor. You get more float and stability at slower speeds without sacrificing the grip and drive needed when you open up the throttle on a morning run or skiing the course.
All-Terrain Core
A polyurethane core with Paulownia wood stringers acts like a suspension system — soaking up afternoon chop, absorbing vibration, and keeping you stable in variable conditions. Whether the water is glassy or lumpy on Kalamalka Lake, the Lyric Alloy stays predictable and planted.
Attitude Control Tunnel + 100% Carbon
A perfectly balanced rocker line reduces water deflection off the tip, preventing nose-dive during aggressive turns and giving you earlier turn initiation. The 100% carbon fibre wrap stores energy through the turn and releases it as you cross the wakes — explosive acceleration on demand.

Sizing is based on average fitness and ability. Stronger or more advanced skiers often size down; beginners or those returning to the sport may prefer to size up for more stability. Not sure which size is right for your build and speed? Call us — water ski sizing is one of the things we know well.
