Product description

Skim Style Wakesurf Board — Ronix — 2026

Who this is for

Advanced skim riders who want the most reactive, frictionless board on Okanagan Lake. The Osmo is designed for riders who have mastered the basics and want a board that responds to every micro-adjustment — landing 360s, chaining technical tricks, and riding deeper in the pocket with less effort.

The board

The 2026 Ronix Osmo is a fast but stable, reactive but composed skimmer — now featuring Speedwalls. Short for Osmosis, the name captures exactly what this board does: it transfers energy from rider to wave with an immediacy that no other construction in the Ronix lineup can match. Handmade at H.O.M.E. (Herb O’Brien Manufacturing Experience) near Seattle using aerospace-grade Innegra from France and an eco-friendly bio resin, the Osmo is one of only two boards still made in the building where Ronix was founded. For 2026, Ronix has doubled down on the frictionless feel with new Urethane Speedwalls that reduce drag by up to 50% — allowing you to ride deeper in the pocket with less effort and carry more speed into every trick.

Tested on Okanagan Lake

Our team spent several evenings on Okanagan Lake putting the previous generation through a real-world gauntlet — behind an older, smaller-displacement Malibu and a brand-new, heavy-weighted Mastercraft. The results were undeniable: the fastest and most responsive board we’ve ever tested.

On the Malibu: The Osmo’s efficiency made for a much larger sweet spot — riders could stay in the pocket with half the effort, effectively lengthening the wave.

On the Mastercraft: The massive push from a modern wake combined with the Osmo’s speed made it a high-flying, rapid-fire rotation machine. The 2026 Speedwall update makes both scenarios even faster.

What makes it work

Dark Matter Construction

Handmade at H.O.M.E. near Seattle using Innegra — a material sourced from France that is a first of its kind in wakesurfing. Combined with an eco-friendly bio resin, Dark Matter delivers the pinnacle of reaction and control. The result is an aerospace-grade construction that responds to micro-adjustments in a way no other board in the Ronix lineup can replicate.

Urethane Speedwalls — 50% Less Drag

Vertical urethane sidewalls wrap the profile of the board, allowing it to sit higher in the water for increased speed while providing elite impact resistance against dock bumps and board racks. A new construction reducing drag by up to 50% compared to a traditional build — ride deeper in the pocket with less effort.

Low Rocker + Wide Profile + Domed Deck

The minimal rocker in tip and tail keeps the board fast and flat on the water, while the wide profile gives you a stable platform to work from. The domed deck creates a closer connection between your feet and the board — every weight shift translates directly, giving you the revolving door of micro-adjustments the Osmo is known for.

Tool-Less Button Fin System

Ronix’s intuitive button fins let you customise your tracking on the swim platform in seconds — no screwdriver required. Press the button, pull the fin, swap it out. Whether you want more hold or looser rotation, you can dial it in before you even hit the water.

Size guide

Size Volume Rocker Center Width Rider Weight
48ā€ 9.7L 1.7ā€ 21ā€ Up to 165 lbs

55ā€ 11.8L 2ā€ 22ā€ 180+ lbs

Weight ranges are based on average build and wake size. More experienced riders often size down for less swing weight and quicker rotations. Not sure which is right for you? Call us — we’ve ridden this board on Okanagan Lake.
