Lens Technologies That Matter:
Oakley Prizm lenses enhance contrast and color, improving definition in low light. You'll see terrain features you'd otherwise miss.
Smith ChromaPop lenses do similar work — they're tuned to cut through low light and enhance definition, especially on snow. Once you've looked through ChromaPop, it's hard to go back.
Both technologies come in various tints depending on conditions:
- Bright days — dark tints, mirrored lenses to cut glare
- Flat light — rose, amber or pink tints to enhance contrast
- Variable conditions — photochromic lenses that adjust on the fly
