Burton built the Spellbinder to answer a straightforward question: what does a real intermediate performance board look like when it's built for anyone? Gender-neutral in design, it arrives in two distinct graphics — the one we carry leans toward a creative, expressive aesthetic that fits naturally into a women's lineup without being explicitly marketed that way. Under the topsheet the story is the same regardless of who's riding it: PurePop Camber that amplifies pop and keeps the board lively through every turn, a directional shape with 5mm of taper for better float and all-terrain control, and a twin flex pattern so it responds identically regular or switch. A proper Super Fly® 800G wood core with Dualzone™ EGD™ gives it real pop and consistent edge hold. Biax™ fiberglass keeps it forgiving and approachable. Super Sap® bio-based epoxy cuts the carbon footprint by half. The Spellbinder is the board for a rider at Silver Star or Big White who has outgrown their beginner setup and wants something with actual performance behind it.
