The Alternator is built for riders who ride hard and don't need a board to hold their hand. |

The Alternator has been Nitro's signature all-mountain weapon for years — the board their top pro team reaches for when conditions are serious and they need something that doesn't have an off switch. Traditional Trüe Camber gives it spring-loaded pop and precise edge hold on firm Silver Star groomers. The mid-wide platform means most riders can carve hard without toe drag. And the Dual Degressive Sidecut — Nitro's most forgiving geometry — makes it feel looser and more playful than an 8/10 flex board has any right to feel, especially through trees and variable terrain. This is the board that Mateo Massitti called his "one true love... fun when cruising, aggressive when charging your hardest." At Attridge we carry it alongside the Lib Tech Lib Rig and the Capita Aeronaut — riders who want more power and a stiffer, more directional feel typically gravitate toward the Alternator. If you push hard and want the board to push back, this is it.

Rides true to size. The 162 steps up to a wider 264mm waist — a meaningful jump from the 160's 256mm, making it the natural choice for riders with larger boots or those who want extra platform. When in doubt, come in — we'll sort it out.
