Women’s Surf Style Wakesurf Board — Ronix — 2026
Who this is for Women of all abilities who want a board built specifically for them — not a shrunken version of a men’s board. Whether you’re riding for the first time on Kalamalka Lake this summer or you’ve been on the water for years, the Women’s Koal Fish gives you a forgiving, playful platform that keeps up as you progress. |
The Women’s Koal Classic Fish is Ronix’s longest-running women’s series — a dedicated shape dialled in for how women ride, not just sized down from the men’s version. As we explain in our guide to choosing a wakesurf board, “They are great for learning and more experienced riders enjoy the classic surf feel.” The Women’s Fish carries that same surf-style DNA — a clean bottom, fast rockerline, and smooth rounded rails that tuck into the wake for stability and power. The Koal Classic wood laminate construction dampens chop and delivers a plush, organic feel that makes every session on Okanagan Lake more enjoyable. It rides loose off the top and still delivers on the bottom turn. If you’re looking for the first lady of the waterway, this is it. And if you’re shopping for a family quiver, the men’s Koal Classic Fish pairs perfectly alongside it.
Why we recommend starting with surf style Surf boards are thicker with more volume and use larger fins to generate drive. The rounded rails tuck into the face of the wake, making the board stable and less sensitive to small foot movements. That stability is what lets a beginner find the pocket and drop the rope — and what lets an experienced rider focus on carving deep, powerful turns. We always recommend starting your quiver here. You can always add a skim board once you’re ready, but trying to learn the basics on a skim board can be a steep uphill battle. |
