The setup
The 2026 Ronix Expert Velo Carbon 910cm² is a complete high-aspect wakefoil kit engineered specifically for the energy and rhythm of a wake — not the ocean, not the wind, the wake. Most high-aspect foils demand swell or strong wind to perform. The Velo is different: built from high-grade prepreg spread tow carbon and cured in an autoclave, every component in this kit is optimised for the unique demands of wakefoiling on flat inland water. The 910cm² front wing is the narrower, faster option in the Velo lineup — a wing that rewards riders who want to charge hard, change direction quickly, and extract maximum speed from the wake on Kalamalka Lake. It has a higher entry speed than the 1010, but once you’re up it delivers a level of responsiveness and precision the larger wing can’t match.

This kit includes everything you need to foil — mast, fuselage, front wing, and stabilizer — but not a board. Our recommended pairing is the Ronix Blackbird Superconductor, which is built specifically for high-aspect performance and compatible with this kit’s industry-standard track dimensions.
